Winter Farm Walk at Kinderhook Farm

Join us for an interactive winter farm walk at Kinderhook Farm, one of the earliest farms established in Columbia County. Farmers will guide participants around the farm and provide insights into the practices involved in overwintering livestock, including sheep, chickens, cattle, and pigs.  

Make sure to bundle up and come ready with your questions and curiosity – we can’t wait to share this experience with you! And don’t forget to swing by their farm store before you head out to pick up some of the finest local meats Kinderhook Farm offers. 

If you are a fellow farmer or have recently visited another farm, please help us keep all our farms safe by wearing different shoes, washing your boots, or using the boot covers we will provide.

The suggested donation is $15 for Slow Food members and $20 for non-members. Space is limited. Slow Food Hudson Valley is committed to donating the proceeds from its events to organizations that address food insecurity in the Hudson Valley.
